Time runs so fast when you are too busy I guess. Was not able to make a blog post last summer to recognize that our humble blog network has turned a year old already.

But better late than never as they say. Some updates.

1. Tomorrow, I’ll be moderating the Blog Marketing Panel at The Digital Ripple: 4th Internet and Mobile Marketing Summit. Quite excited as the panel will be composed of blog marketing practitioners such as BlogBank, Nuffnang Philippines, Red Sight Media of Abe Olandres, Geiser Maclang Marketing Communications, and Yahoo! Philippines. I’m sure it will be fun.
2. AdInteresting site being worked on and will be ready for launch soon.
3. Got approached by an international ad network and offered to become their blog network arm. Quite excited about it especially if our terms will be followed.
4. Will be inviting Indonesia bloggers to join our network as a targeted blog campaign gets rolled out soon. (Currently looking for a virtual assistant in Indonesia.)
5. Will be rolling out an international Blog Entrepreneurship course (offline/online) in partnership with BlueBlade Technologies and Ateneo de Manila University where graduates will become accredited advertiser who will have direct access in this network. Classes will start on October 16.

To bloggers and advertisers who supported this small community on its 1st year, my deepest gratitude. I’m sure the 2nd year will be better.

Last June 18, Blog4Reviews.com just turned one month old and have accepted more than 200 bloggers in the system to date. This brings us the challenge of finding advertisers and provide opportunities to as many bloggers as possible. We try to balance this by being gradual in our approval process of new bloggers and blogs in the system.

Being on its beta phase, we are still making enhancements to ensure that we’ll be able to cover urgent concerns of both bloggers and advertisers. Instead of being approved right away, all members go through an approval process to protect the site members from those who just dig for information. We found one lately and decided to ban that person and entity permanently from our site.

The primary basis of a blog’s approval is its original content and being up-to-date. That shall also serve as basis for maintaining one’s membership in Blog4Reviews.com. While bloggers have to fulfill their needs to generate income from their blogging endeavours, remember to take care of your blog by having more non-paid content to serve as gap on your paid content.

In addition to providing balance, it also preserves what your blog is really all about - which is you and the experiences, knowledge, and things that  you share to your readers.
